What is club volleyball?
Club volleyball is a highly competitive, nationwide volleyball network that focuses on competition and skill development. Club involves high intensity training and practices, tournament play, and college exposure. .
How long is club season?
Usually, club season runs from mid November-April. Some teams may play into June if they qualify for nationals.
Where are tournaments held?
Younger age divisions will participate in more regional and local tournaments. Older age divisions will travel to surrounding states.
How many players are selected for each team?
On average, 9-12 players will be placed on a team. This allows for individual growth because each player is receiving more instruction.
What do club fees covers?
Fees cover tournament fees, uniforms, practice shirts, facility usage, equipment, and coaching fees.
How is playing time handled?
Equal playing time is never guaranteed and should not be expected. Playing time is at the discretion on the coach and is based on different factors including performance in games and practices, attitude, position, the team’s needs, and more. Failure to attend practices and/or tournaments will result is less playing time. Club volleyball is a COMMITMENT.
What is NOT covered by fees?
Player/family hotels, travel, and food are not included. Items such as shoes, ankle braces, and other playing accessories are the responsibility of the player.
Are there payment plans available?
Yes, there are payment plans. After paying the commitment fee, the total cost can be split up into 5 monthly payments.
